Ben Cleland, Associate

Ben has experience in all areas of employment law, and is able to advise on contentious and non-contentious matters. Ben can assist clients with personal grievances, employment agreements, submissions on employment law change, Labour Inspectorate investigations, privacy issues, and Holidays Act compliance.

Ben has particular interest in the employment law issues that have arisen in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, including force majeure, health and safety, and management prerogative.

Ben is a member of New Zealand Asian Lawyers, Auckland Young Lawyers and a lifetime member of the New Zealand Comedy Guild.
